Meet Ameeta
It all started when…
…Ameeta, an academic of south Asian origin, leased a seat at the Minneapolis Grain Exchange where they asked her thoughts on establishing apple juice futures. Through her experiences in this position, she was inspired by her desire as a mother and wife to have healthy and delicious low-sugar beverages available for her family.
During her formative years in Southern Asia and Europe, Ameeta grew up in a family where food was about love, relationships, and spending joyful time in the kitchen. Ameeta missed this when she moved to the US.
Building on her experiences growing up in India and as a student in Brittany/Normandy France, working in apple orchards to supplement her income, Ameeta founded Panache to celebrate the diversity of the apple. Ameeta’s passion continues to flourish under the support system and network she has cultivated in her chosen homeland.
“I always loved fruits and vegetables and the cold of Minnesota offered the wonderful apple. I wanted to add value to it using my own life’s experiences.”
Where will it go next....
Well, after success with the French style hard ciders, the making of apple port and apple brandy is but a natural next steps. Fall 2023 Panache will introduce its port and brandy- style Calvados Fine- for private placements.
